Documentation first. Price second.
YouHuYou Components supplies, screens and documents components for programmes that cannot absorb a counterfeit or an undocumented substitution. Every line is graded in writing, every lot is traceable, and every quote carries the sourcing channel it came from.

PROCESSES
Send the BOM. Get availability, grade and documents.
One line or three hundred. You receive the sourcing channel, the grade of each lot and the documentation that will travel with it — before you place the order.
Capabilities → Certifications → Process → FAQ → RFQ. In that order, every service page.
Capabilities
What we can actually screen, hold and document.
Certifications
What we hold, with scope and validity stated.
Process
The steps a lot goes through, in writing.
FAQ
The questions an auditor or buyer will ask.
RFQ
Six fields. Reply in four working hours.
We will tell you when not to buy.
Roughly one enquiry in five ends with us recommending against the purchase — because the only available stock is refurbished, or the date code cannot be substantiated, or the drawing calls for a qualification we cannot evidence. That answer costs us an order and saves you a recall.
| Question we ask internally | What it decides |
|---|---|
| Is the sourcing channel documented? | Whether we quote at all |
| Is the grade acceptable for the end use? | New, surplus or refurbished |
| Can the date code be substantiated? | Photographed, or declined |
| Does the programme need screening beyond visual? | X-ray, curve trace, decap |
| Part | Grade | Status |

Escalation for line-down events
A named engineer is reachable on WhatsApp, and the desk will work a Sunday if a production line is stopped. State it in the enquiry subject line: LINE DOWN.
What we can screen, hold and document — stated as parameters, not adjectives.
If a capability is not in the table below, we do not have it and we will say so on the quote. Everything listed is performed in-house unless marked as a partner service.
Screening & inspection capability

What we refuse to do
| Source without a documented channel | Declined — no exceptions, regardless of quantity |
| Describe refurbished parts as new | Grade is stated on the quote and the invoice |
| Claim a test we did not run | Method statement available; gaps are disclosed |
| Alter markings or re-label lots | Not performed under any circumstances |

Alternatives & cross-reference
Pin-to-Pin Compatible
ADS1299-4IPAGR – Texas Instruments. Tape-and-reel variant of the same die and package. No layout change; this is a packing difference, not a design change.
Same Spec, Different Brand
ADS1298IPAG – Texas Instruments. 8-channel counterpart in the same package family. Pin-compatible with unused channels left unconnected; firmware channel mapping must change.
Functional Replacement
ADS1298-4 – multi-vendor. Comparable noise performance, different register map and decimation filters. In a medical build this is a design change and must be documented as such.
Six fields, then a documented answer.

Documented sourcing for a filed design
A device cleared five years ago still needs components today, and the supplier of record has moved on twice. Every substitution we propose is written up with the deviation and the approval reference so it can sit in your change-control file.
| Failure mode we address | Undocumented substitution during fielded production |
| Deliverable | Deviation record + COC + inspection report |
| Typical parts | AFE, MCU, isolated supplies, sensors |
Line-down recovery that survives a supplier audit
When a Tier-1 line stops, the price is secondary and the paper trail is decisive. We declare grade and channel before quoting, hold bonded buffer stock against your forecast, and flag AEC-Q released alternatives explicitly.
| Failure mode we address | Untraceable stock entering a qualified process |
| Deliverable | COC, origin, grade declaration, AEC-Q status |
| Escalation | LINE DOWN lane, named engineer, weekend cover |
Chain of custody you can defend
AS9120B chain-of-custody controls, ITAR-registered handling for controlled articles, and a lot record retained for seven years. Where the documentation cannot be produced, the part is not offered.
| Failure mode we address | Counterfeit or misrepresented parts in flight hardware |
| Deliverable | Full traceability pack + 7-year lot retention |
| Screening | AS6081 aligned, IDEA-STD-1010 protocol |
Long programme support without redesign
Inverters, drives and metering hardware run for decades. We track EOL notices against your active BOMs, plan the last-time-buy with you, and hold long-tail interconnect and passive lines that quietly stop production lines.
| Failure mode we address | EOL notice arriving after the buy window closed |
| Deliverable | EOL scan + LTB recommendation in writing |
| Services | Bonded stock, kitting, programming |
The questions your quality department will ask us.
Written for engineers and auditors rather than marketing. Each answer is a page you can forward internally.
What exactly does an AS6081 aligned programme test for?
AS6081 sets out how a distributor inspects components bought on the open market for signs of counterfeiting, and how findings are documented and reported. In practice: documentation review, marking and surface inspection under magnification, X-ray or XRF where relevant, electrical verification and, for high-risk lots, decapsulation. The output you receive is an inspection record tied to a lot, not a certificate of general virtue.
How do you grade stock, and can I require a specific grade in the PO?
Three grades: new and factory sealed; surplus in original packaging never used in production; refurbished, previously installed, removed and retested. Yes — write the acceptable grade into the PO. If only a lower grade is available we quote it as unavailable rather than quietly downgrading the delivery.
Who pays for decapsulation and how long does it add?
Decapsulation and die inspection are performed by an accredited partner laboratory. Cost sits with the buyer unless the lot is subsequently rejected for misrepresentation, in which case we absorb it. Typical turnaround is five to seven working days, quoted into the lead time before you commit.
Can you hold stock bonded against our rolling forecast?
Yes. We reserve the quantity, hold it in our warehouse, and release it in call-off batches against your schedule. The agreement states the reservation period, the call-off notice period and how price applies at each release, so there is no ambiguity when the schedule moves.
What is your position on exported and ITAR-controlled parts?
We are ITAR registered and screen enquiries against applicable controls. Controlled articles are handled under documented procedures, and we will decline an enquiry where the destination or the end use cannot be substantiated. Country of origin is declared on every line.
Do you supply the documentation before the order, or with the shipment?
Both, on request. Sourcing grade, channel, date code and available documents are stated on the quotation, so you can approve before committing. The signed COC, inspection record and photographs then travel with the goods.
Six fields for the RFQ. Three for a general enquiry.
Send the requirement; you get channel, grade, documentation and price per line. If the answer is that we should not sell you the part, you will get that in writing too.
