From Sample to Shipment: How a Pest-Control Order Runs at Our Factory
Most buyers know what they want; fewer know what happens inside the factory after they hit "send inquiry". Here is the actual flow for a typical ultrasonic pest repeller order at YouHuYou, so you can plan timelines and know what to prepare.
Step 1: Inquiry and specification (day 0–1)
You tell us the model or the outcome you want, target quantity, destination market and any branding requirements. We reply with tier pricing, plug options, packaging choices and lead time — usually within one working day. If the request is a customization, we scope it now: what changes, what it costs, how long it takes.
Step 2: Samples (typically 3–7 days)
For stock models we ship samples immediately; customized units take longer for housing or firmware changes. Samples are tested 72+ hours continuously before they leave our bench: function, noise, heat, timer and light modes. You test in your market conditions and confirm.
Step 3: Order confirmation and production scheduling
Once the proforma invoice is confirmed, materials are scheduled. Because our line runs the same platform across multiple models, repeat orders on existing SKUs start production quickly; peak season (spring and early summer, ahead of pest season in the northern hemisphere) rewards early booking.
Step 4: Mass production with in-line QC
Every unit passes function and aging tests — powered and run before packing, not spot-checked. Housing, plug type and box language are verified against the confirmed specification per batch. We would rather catch a wrong plug on line 3 than in a port container.
Step 5: Packing and export
Retail boxes are packed into export-grade cartons with per-carton counts you approved. We ship EXW, FOB or as arranged, from Dongguan with convenient access to the Pearl River Delta ports. Documents — commercial invoice, packing list, and certificates where applicable — go out with the shipment.
Step 6: Repeat orders get easier
Your specification, packaging files and QC baseline are kept on file. A repeat order is one email: same spec, new quantity, new ship date. Most of our pest-control clients move to this mode by their second or third order.
If you are planning a first order, the best time to start the conversation is 8–10 weeks before you need stock on the water. Send us the model, quantity and market — we will map the timeline for you.
